Boris 5 won’t render in HD
Hi;
I’m working in Avid 3.0 and have applied the BCC multi stretch transition. It renders fine in SD but when I try the effect in an HD project it renders incomplete. Any ideas?Thanks;

What’s the exact name of the BCC transition? And what “incomplete” exactly means? Off the top of my head I can tell that either the transition settings need adjustment or the system does not finish rendering because of a technical reason. Anyway, more info could help solve the problem.

Thanks for the reply.
The exact name is BCC Multi Stretch Wipe TR, using the preset ‘blendRays.bcp’.
No keyframes were used, I just dropped it on the time line.
When it renders, the first half of the effect is normal but the 2nd half turns into a motionless circle. I have tried this on 2 different avid systems with the same result: It works fine in SD and craps out in HD. I’m using the latest versions of Avid Media Composer and Boris 5.0.Keith

Could you posts screen shots of what you are seeing or send me a bin with an example of this? If I get the bin I can take a look and see if I get this here or if there is a setting that can fix the issue for you.
