August 6, 2020 at 11:49 am in reply to: Boris Continuum for Apple: no title studio or Particle Illusion?Unfortunately, both Title Studio and Particle Illusion are among filters unsupported in FCPX due to API limitations. The recommended workflow for PI is to use the Particle Illusion Standalone application (included with Continuum 2020.5 or as a free download from http://www.borisfx.com). The particle movie can be rendered out as a ProRez movie and brought back to FCPX as a clip.
Hope this helps,

I can’t immediately reproduce the problem by flipping resolutions in AE (not running Vegas), but I’ll ask our QA team to see if they can spot something. I assume you are running the effect in default setting.

Once you import EPS file in RED, find the media icon in it’s timeline track and open its popup menu. There, you’ll find an option to convert your EPS file into live Splines.

Ben,
I wonder if you could try BCC Glint from the BCC 11 package? The trial download can be found here:
https://borisfx.com/downloads/?&product=Continuum&host=Avid
It may do what you are asking for.

Hey that’s a great question. Check out this page for the complete features of Mocha Pro:
https://borisfx.com/products/mocha/
the version built in to Continuum, Sapphire only includes masking and tracking (which are great!), but not Remove, Stabilize, Insert, Camera Solver, Lens, etc.
We have attractive cross grade options if you contact our sales team at sales@borisfx.com

April 7, 2018 at 1:15 pm in reply to: BCC Pan and Zoom — why is ‘cropping’ greyed out?Hey Michael,
No need to delete your post, it’s a reasonable question. We use so called “contextual controls” in the native host UI to guide users in setting up the effects. More info on Pan and Zoom documentation can be found here:
https://web.borisfx.com/helpdocs/?page_id=1038
and a demo movie here:

good luck with your Ken Burns moves!

Hard to say without getting more info about your system, card, driver, host versions, etc. Two options, call 1888 77 BORIS on Monday or file a support form:
Most likely your issue is known to our support team and there is a solution.

Hey Gazi,
We need to know what version of Continuum you are using. The lens flare filter went through some changes in recent versions.

February 12, 2018 at 12:19 pm in reply to: DSLR Sharpening: BCC Magic Sharp or on-camera ?Sorry for the delayed response. Our product managers are looking at how Boris Continuum Magic Sharp compares with Adobe Premiere built in tool. I expect it to be much better quality because I know the it is far better than any sharpening currently available in After Effects. But we never tried one in Premiere.
Cheers,
