    Boris RT Film Grain effect missing

    Hi,

    I’m using Boris Continuum 5 on 2 computers; 1 iMac 24″ Ali and a MacPro.

    I’ve been moving the project around for some weeks but today I’ve found that one effect RT Film Grain isn’t on the MacPro maachine!

    It’s the same copy of Boris on both machines, in fact it’s a volume license for our facility but none of the machines running it will load the RT Film Grain, and it’s not coming up in the list of FX.

    Any idea how this has happened? Is it a hardware software issue? I would have thought the Macpro would have the better spec and so be able to use the RT functions more, but it appears not.

    I’m stumped and unable to continue working, any help much appreciated!

    Hi Kenny,

    Off the top of my head I can’t explain the missing filter but I’ll ask our support to come on this thread to help.

    Hi Boris,

    I needed the 5.7 upgrade!

    Just realised that one of our machines had it but the others didn’t. Got the upgrade from the website and all is good.
