BorisRED 2D Morphs? Strobe Exports?
Is there a 2D morph plug-in for BorisRED?
If not, can you recommend a Mac PPC app for the job?Is there a way for BorisRED to strobe its exports? I’m working on a series of shots that will be combined with some 6fps animations (already converted to 29.97fps). I don’t want the inserts to look super smooth. I want to “print” each frame in the series 4 times.

There is currently no morph plugin for RED, sorry. I’ll add it to the wish list for you. As far as strobe render, you should be able to achieve the effect by applying BCC Posterize Time filter to the entire project. The filter lives in the Time category under Filters menu. Make sure to press the Help button in the filter UI to see the pdf doc. You may have to render out your video first to a file and re-import the file for best results.
