Cloth has it’s own caching function, just take a lok at the cloth tags cache tab.

    Hi,
this sounds as if you use global rotation for the rotor instead of local.

August 10, 2006 at 12:16 pm in reply to: New C4d to Ae plug in: where?

Due to an error in the 9.6 updater the AE plugins installed by 9.5 are not replaced with the new ones that came with 9.6.
To remedy this you have to delete the following folders in this directory \CINEMA 4D R9\Exchange Plugins\aftereffects\
    mac 5.0, mac 5.5, mac 6.5, pc 5.0, pc 5.5, pc 6.5
and run the 9.6 updater again.
If the complete after effects folder is deleted instead the examples and documentation will not be renewed by the 9.6 updater so you should leave them as is.

Polygon Tool? You mean modelling? Movement of points/polys can be recorded via PLA, creation and deletion of Polygons or points can not be animated.

9.6 is only needed if you want to be able to preview this in the editor, at rendertime this works since at least since release 5 if i’m not mistaken.

You can replace the created geometry with your own shape, so yes.

    Hi,
use the PFragment node on this. Make sure your object is all quad polygons and then set PFragment to Faces.

    Hi,
you can do this by converting the MoGraph objects to polygons at the price of loosing the animation.
Also the the MoGraph shader need to be baked and any expression that uses MoGraph parts need to be substituted as well.
Over all i don’t think the effort is worth it.
