I would like to take an object and break it up into squares using thinking particles, but have the squares take on the texture from the original object. Right now, all I can to is apply one texture to all the new particles. I saw that someone said that the plugin “Storm Tracer” was required to do this in C4d… Is that true, or is there a way to do it without any plugins? Thank you.

    Hi,
use the PFragment node on this. Make sure your object is all quad polygons and then set PFragment to Faces.

Thank you for the fast response. Just a second thought, will the same node work for breaking my object up into spheres? Thank you.

You can replace the created geometry with your own shape, so yes.
