I composed an animation in C4D 9.6 using Mograph, and I’d like to give it to a friend who also has C4D to check out — but he doesn’t have Mograph. He doesn’t need to edit the clones or animation; just render it out, maybe change some colors, etc.

Is there any process I can follow so that I can generate a “baked” version of everything so that he can load it in his C4D without requiring Mograph? (Yes, I am a novice.) I see options to “bake” textures and animation but I’ve never used them, and it didn’t look like it would work for me anyway.

Hopefully there is an easy procedure for this, since I’d also like to send him something that uses dynamics and he doesn’t have that either.

    Hi,
you can do this by converting the MoGraph objects to polygons at the price of loosing the animation.
Also the the MoGraph shader need to be baked and any expression that uses MoGraph parts need to be substituted as well.
Over all i don’t think the effort is worth it.
    Cheers
    Bj
