Clock Wipe with Chromakey to remove any background from circle, if there is one.

Cineform files rendered in 10.0 don’t recompress when placed on the timeline, just those that are created using Cineform Neoscene.

I found no bug list. Defaulted to posting in the Sony Forums for visibility, which is a pain in the a@# four step process to do if you have never posted before!

Try reinstalling Vegas. That’s pretty painless and stands a decent chance of getting you back on your feet again.

Nested FX such as twirl, pinch/punch and radial blur really assist in the psycho. Combine this with a keyed pan and zoom and your styling. I got something looking groovy in less than 5-minutes.

Having exactly the same problem after upgrading from 8.x to 10.x. I’m stuck using both versions as a work-around. As you probably already know/understand it won’t recognize them in a veggie file either.

Maybe then Quicktime formats would work without resorting to Voodoo dolls and pins:-) Just installed 10.x and quicktime no longer works in 8.x — has the infamous black screen.

I hate white shirts at a shoot:( I’m interested to see if anyone has any magic. In my workflow I would be looking at my b-roll and cutaway shots to simply remove these scenes. You could also do something artistic like using the newblue cartoonr.

    Post a sample.

If your going through all this trouble you were likely editing the only copy you had of the media? If so change your workflow and have at LEAST one backup copy on a different HD/Media. I have a lot of camera capacity hence I have the original on the camera, a master on a seperate drive and the media I’m editing on a different production drive.

    Good luck
