June 20, 2007 at 9:04 pm in reply to: How to make this amazing effect? I have uploaded a video.very very deep in the back of my brains, i thought I saw the making of this. and yes. all the persons in the shots are standing very still. the little ball is easy to do (look at andrew kramers tutorial about time freezing)
or just hang it at a very thin court that snaps easie of the ball when moving it, it snaps at the little bal, so the court doesn’t fall down, mayby that will work ^^

June 18, 2007 at 8:35 pm in reply to: how to do this camera effect/transition (from this music video)i tried put animating the position values of to shots so that when one leaves the comp/camera, the other rushes in without seeing a hole/line in between. animated some blure and put motion blur on.
but this doesn’t work that well. the idea is there somewere only to make it look real nice is a bit of a prolem ^^ -

i think you allready know this, but just in case:
https://www.jvcproeurope.com/
than go to contact, this is for the pro stuffhttps://www.jvc-europe.com/
this is the normal site. choose your country and go to contact/aboutthere is indeed a problem between JVC europe and US. here in europe there are almost no accesoires for camera’s (and if there are, they are very expensive) and JVC US won’t ship it to Europe. communication is also a problem I heart.
I’ve ask for this stuff to the JVC guys in The Netherlands about the prize differences etc, but they couln’t give a explanation.
but anywayI don’t know were you buyed your camera, mayby the guy’s from that store know more info.
Good luck

nice job putting it togher like this 🙂
but..
you focusing(pay attention) to much on those beamers, to much shots of them. and after the interview you have a animation and some shots in a big college room (very nice), but i saw this college room also later in the movie, with no further information. that is wrong i guess.
and, you want to want people see this “documentairy” and the worst thing to begin with is a hmm, yes the bit “boring interview”.after that it go’s very good with nice shots, fast forwards, nice animation (with the clocktower and the radio waves at the top ^^ )
i suggest that you begin with nice animations, cool stuff to attract people to see it, then take people deeper in it by letting them see a good interview. then explain more details etc.
for the rest, what camera did you use?
overal view : nice movie, change the construction settup a bit and it will be fine.
Good luck

do not export your video, but save it in AE. then open your AE file with Premiere Pro. now you see 1 video file with the total lengte of your clip. place the mp3 song under it and your done. if the comp length is the same, the fps is the same, then there is no problem. (look in Premiere at the settings before open the AE file)
i suggest always that you make your sound loops in another program than AE, i think that your problem is at the beginnen of a second loop of the song mayby. -
mayby the other background for the mask is a little bit darker( the background without the guy on it, so that you can mask the guy’s head away with normal background), look at the “opacity” values for that one perhaps.

oohwja, another thing you could do :
buy small models of your cars. then do the whole stunt in front of a litte green screen, with cables that are so thin you could almost not see them (add a filter for your color and done, or some smoke).
then make everything very realistic in AE.
iv’e seen it in Stargate SG1 in season 7, when the blow up a big piramide, that was actual a 1.3meter piramide. very nice, okey they are pro’s and do not use AE, but okey, it’s almost the same 🙂Good luck
