i have an animation that is synced to an mp3 file. when i export/render the file with the audio the first 8ish seconds skip a bit (a bad technoish loop), but after the skipping it is fine. when i export the file without sound, just the animation, and then place it into premiere and attempt to align the video with the same audio clip, the video is not the same length as it is in AE; im having to clip out the first 5-6 sec of the animation to match it with the audio. i have checked the fps and such with no luck. any insight would be appreciated.
    thanks

do not export your video, but save it in AE. then open your AE file with Premiere Pro. now you see 1 video file with the total lengte of your clip. place the mp3 song under it and your done. if the comp length is the same, the fps is the same, then there is no problem. (look in Premiere at the settings before open the AE file)
i suggest always that you make your sound loops in another program than AE, i think that your problem is at the beginnen of a second loop of the song mayby.

Also never use mp3 in AE, it does not handle mp3 very well I found that out to my cost on numerous occasions. I use now wma in my projects and it seems to like that much better.

thanks for the replies. i ended up converting the sound file into a .wav file, works like a champ.
    thanks again.
