duplicate your ships layer. then turn your ship to black (with levels or color correction or so, as long as the ships’s shape becomes black). then bring that ship layer into the right position on the ground(flat, on to the ground) and lower the opacity a bit.
you must draw a mask around the ship’s shap firs, or else the background wil become black to 🙂
it works much nicer with a person/object on a green screen with this technique.

i have a GZ-MG77. what you wanna do is the following thing :
because MOD is just MPEG2 format on these camera’s. just change the extension name (example : myfirstmovie.MOD) to “myfirstmove.MPEG”
no quality loss, nothing. and it works perfectly with editing programs etc.

okey, you guys obviously don’t know what i’m talking about 😀
okey, no text, bad example, other solid than with a rectangular mask tool to the half of it, then feather it a bit, then try those blending modes, then the won’t work.

i found the solution to this problem anyway, YOU CAN’T CHOOSE BETWEEN THOSE BLENDING MODES, EN APPLY THEM , WHEN YOU HAVE OPENGL RENDER/PREVIEUW SETTING ON, VERY WEIRD. BUT THANXS ANYWAY
