Look…
I’ve got a couple of feature requests for Adobe myself. And there’s always something we’d like to see behave differently. But trust me, certain features seem more straighforward to program than they really are. If it was easy to give all of us what we want, they’d surely do it.
But your posts on this subject have become highly repetitive and are beginning to sound like flaming. We’d be happy to point you to solutions to your problems, but you don’t really seem to want solutions, but just vent your frustration.
If there’s another application that serves your needs better, go on and use it and quit your trolls here.

Still curious whether or not I can have a dual install of 6.5 and 7.”Not a problem at all.

What card and drivers are you using?

[John Dickinson] “Best case would be something like Flame”
Yes… and I’d like its render speed, too – at the price of an AE upgrade if possible 😉

It seems to be fashionable these days to do some cathartic Adobe-bashing these days, but Steve will be the first to agree with me that all the cool things that come our way in the shape of 3rd party plug-ins, are primarily made possible by the incredible work that the Adobe development team puts into their plug-in architecture and API’s.
So even sometimes we may not directly see the result of their work, there’s a reason why there are so many plug-ins for After Effects… It’s got a very powerful API.
Just felt an uncontrollable urge to give my perspective on this.
Of course this doesn’t make Nucleo any less cool!

[Jonathan Alexander] “but I think that things would be a heck of a lot better if they did lock spatial and temporal curves together like 3d apps”
I’m sure Adobe already knows this ;-), but it never hurts to officially file a feature request if this is very important to you.
But like you said, the graph editor is very cool (try selecting a bunch of keyframes by dragging a box around them, and scaling them in value or time… utterly cool!) – but at the same time it opens the door for so much more coolness, in future releases hopefully.

[editing-jos] “I wish someone from adobe here would answer me about this problem.”
Well, like you mentioned, currently there’s no separate curves for x, y and z translation.
You could actually achieve bouncing ball easily with only one null object though. And with 7.0 you can have both curves overlayed in the graph editor, so it’s not like it’s a huge deal…

I can’t check right now, but I’m pretty sure that the secret preferences are still there. You keep shift down, go to the preferences, and in the preferences you have a dropdown menu for different prefs. In this dropdown you should find one that’s named ‘secret’.
I’ve also had a project that would be so incredibly RAM hungry that it would crash during rendering. I noticed that rendering with Caps-Lock active (which disables preview) it didn’t crash at all. You could give that a try…

[editing-jos] ”
-Why only linear, continous bezier, automatic?”Are you only able to work with linear interpolation in the Graph Editor? Have you tried converting keyframes? It works similar to changing vertices in Illustrators path editing.
There is a limitation with showing spatial curves, but you can edit velocitycurves just fine. Although not X, Y and Z separately.

I have to say I haven’t encountered a crash when working the application in a long time.
Not that this is of any help, but I’ve personally experienced 7.0 to be more stable than 6.5
