Tracker freezes AE 7
Anybody else havoing this problem? Using the tracker, Position/Rotation/Scale, freezes the comp. I seem to have access to top menues, add a new effect, open anew comp, select different windows in the workspace, but can’t use any of the controls. Also, AE7 will then not close. I have to close it through windows task manager.
ProMax Dual XEON, 2gig RAM, NVIDIA FX1100, 2SATA drives for video.

Freezes when Ram previewed. (I am Sam Behrens, I just changed my forum posting name). I must have wrong settings somewhere, but I get the same result when I do a RAM preview.

I have to say I haven’t encountered a crash when working the application in a long time.
Not that this is of any help, but I’ve personally experienced 7.0 to be more stable than 6.5

I am really surprised this is not a common problem. I tried it on my laptop, a completely different computer, with the exact same result. I found that I can select outside of the program and then select back into the program to “unfreeze”. I can only suppose there is something installed on both my computers that is interfearing with AE, but I rebooted with no other apps loading. By the way, 6.5 ran like a dream.
If anyone has an idea about this, please write it in. All thoughts accepted and appreciated.
