June 8, 2009 at 9:00 pm in reply to: Moving tangent arms independently? “C4D 11 Workshop” questionHi Rob,
you are using a Bezier spline and you can see the tangents of selected spline points?
Holding down the Shift key together with the left mouse button while moving a tangent should break it.Kind regards,

Hello,
the thickness of hair can be controlled by the hair material as you might know. Beside this you are always free to generate splines from the hair and use them as SweepNURBS paths.
Gravity is controled by the Hair object. Beside this you can use particel effectors such as the Wind object to push the hair to whatever directlion needed.Kind regards,

Hi,
I have to admit that I don’t know the logo itself (mostly I watch german TV 🙂 but it seems you are on the right track.
Basically you ave 2 choices:– Build up the shape with splines, use the Extrude NURBS object and use it’s Cap and Bevel options to size and shape the bevels or
– Use the Extrude NURBS, but this time just with caps. Then convert the Extrude NURBS to a polygon object (press “C”), select the caps and the Extrude NURBS polygon objects and choose Connect from Functons menue. Now use Optimize from Functions menue to melt the duplicate points of the connected logo. Now you can finally select polygons or edges and use the Bevel command to manually add your bevels.

Hi,
I don’t understand. Have you already read and tried what I have written in my last answer?
Of course It depends on the power of your CPU and your graphic card and the density of your meshes how fast the editor screens update.
They will not update all at once but on after each other, so you cannot have 100% in sync updates, but you can get close. Most of the time you will not be able to notice any time lag between updating views.
Why don’t you just download the demo and try by yourself with the kind of mesh density you plan to use? -
Hi,
you can configure all views as you like.
Just create 2 cameras and use them for the 2 different editor views (see Camera menue in each editor view). -
Where are you seeing this? in the Picture Viewer while rendering the frame, after Post Effects were applied, in the compressed movie?

September 5, 2007 at 10:15 am in reply to: Basic scene setup to match storyboards?I cannot give much advise of how to deal with storyboards, but to match the perspective of background images you can use the PhotoMatch plug-in. It generates a perspective matching camera, eases the placement of already modelled objects in the image background and offers some simple image modelling features. A free version of PhotoMatch comes with the CINEMA 4D 10 book from Focal Press. The commericial version is available here: http://www.vreel-3d.de.
A standalone version and a demo is also availbale here: http://www.photomatch.infoKind regards,
