This happens when you try to use an older version of XDCAM Transfer with a database created by a newer version of the app. Judging from your post, what happened is that at some point over the last couple of years you have installed one of the newer versions of XDCAM Transfer and when you came to point your app at a new cache location you must inadvertently have pointed it at a prior location, and more specifically, at one that contained the preexisting (and newer versioned) database.

You can just use “Software Update…” from the Apple menu as normal. Make sure you have not renamed or moved your apps from their default location or the updater service won’t find them.

The specs you note are those of a standard NTSC IMX50 file (aka D10) … you can export directly from FCP as Quicktime Movie w/ Setting: IMX NTSC (50 Mb/s)

Or you might use the Replace Edit F11 function to replace both audio and video from source … as per Walter’s instructions, press F for Match Frame, then F11 for Replace Edit

These days, when mastering and delivering 16:9 source as 4:3 ( SD ) broadcasters prefer or require FHA (full height anamorphic) rather than letterbox.

instead of the unlink/relink shuffle you could just lock/unlock the video track
or if you prefer to unlink then instead of relinking the audio you can use the edit select tool (g) and select both edit point to trim

There is a Proc Amp filter in Effects > Video Filters > Image Control

Check your Sequence Settings and make sure that you have specified that the sequence has 4 Audio Outputs … then check your track assignments and make sure that you have assigned each of your sequence tracks to the correct audio output.
