Did you check your camera and output settings to see that they match yet?
If your Video Playback settings (in FCP) match your camera’s current input settings then it should work.

Is your camera expecting a DV or DVCPROHD signal? What do your Video Playback settings say (View > Video Playback, or Final Cut Pro > Audio/Video Settings…)

sorry Chi-Ho but I haven’t any experience of using the EDL export in Edius so I’m not aware of the issues and limitations. your assumption sounds pretty reasonable though.

Automatic Duck has an AAF Import and Export plug for FCP so you might want to take a look at that as a possible conduit: https://www.automaticduck.com/products/pifcp/
not cheap if this is a one off, but worthwhile if it’s likely to be a regular issue

you might be better off splitting up the timeline you have, in Edius, into separate ones for each frame rate, and then exporting multiple EDLs that you can reassemble in FCP

try this

select one of these troublesome clips in the browser
choose Modify menu > Make Multiclip Sequence…
press OK

a new folder will be created … ignore that
a new sequence will also be created, probably called “Multiclip Sequence 1”, or something similar

double clip that sequence to open it in the timeline
the sequence will contain the originally selected clip
is there a red render bar over that clip in this new sequence?
press cmd-zero to open the Sequence Settings window
what are the settings displayed? detail for us all the settings

as already posted to your other thread, if the resolution of the screen capture is not enough for your needs, you should just get the raw layouts from your client

that said, you might want to take a look at Paparazzi https://www.derailer.org/paparazzi/ a pretty cool tool for capturing a “full” webpage not limited by your screen resolution … its free too !

first off you are trying too hard and worrying too much with all these aspect ratio’s! try to think of DV PAL and DV-NTSC as simply being 4:3 … that is the effective aspect ratio of these formats (after pixel aspect ratio is taken into account).

use Easy Setup to choose DV PAL 48kHz (not the anamorphic version) … drop in any of your footage and FCP will take care of any resizing necessary. the anamorphic footage will be letterboxed just as you have been hoping.
