January 31, 2008 at 3:13 pmYou haven’t said what you are using Grab to grab. A screen shot of what?
A screenshot is a screenshot, there is no way to improve it. All you can do is improve the shot you are grabbing. For most video applications, a screenshot is inappropriate. You want the original: the photo, the movie, the Web page, the still image.

This is my standard sigfile so do not take it personally: “For crying out loud, read the freakin’ manual.”

January 31, 2008 at 4:12 pmSnapz pro is useful because of the options it gives, but it’s still giving the same exact quality as the grab utility. You’re getting every pixel no matter what method you use.
Now, if you’re talking about national TV ads where they zoom in and do all kinds of cool stuff with the web site, those are re-created by artists. Each element is re-done on a large scale and those pieces are animated. If that’s what you’re thinking of, a screen-grab won’t be able to do that.

January 31, 2008 at 4:18 pmas already posted to your other thread, if the resolution of the screen capture is not enough for your needs, you should just get the raw layouts from your client
that said, you might want to take a look at Paparazzi https://www.derailer.org/paparazzi/ a pretty cool tool for capturing a “full” webpage not limited by your screen resolution … its free too !
