Hi Jessie,

Try the Media Manager.
select your sequence/clip > File > Media Manager > Create Offline > un check “include masterclips outside selection” > check “delete unused media from duplicated items”> check “Use Handels” if you like> un check: “include affiliate clips outside selection” > Base media file names on :”existing file names”
Check ” Duplicate selected items and place into a new project”

Select a media destination and a project name in the next window and on you go;-)

You are right Mark, the clip is not in the same project as the timeline.
and thats probably why it dosent work.
Ive tried your solution Bret, but ive altso tried that before.
The reveal in finder is usefull but not in my case…

it is obvious that the “find in browser” function shift F only works if the clip is in the project.
however the “show in browser” button in “find results” window manages to show me the clip regardless of which project it originates from…

Thanx for the suggestion Andy,
shift F works when i “load” the clip from the browser,
But i doesent work from the timeline.
When i dobble click on a clip in the timeline and it pops up in the viewer, and i hit shift F, nothing happens.
(have altso tried to load the original clip, (option command F) before Shift F)

any ideas?

Sound Track Pro NR is nice – you can altso try enhancing/amplifying the characteristics in the voice with an EQ.
that will disbuise some of the noise (same principle as in mp3 encoding;-)

but in my case its not a file now and then thats recalcitrant, its ap 5 – 7 hours of media in small clips. and this error affects approximately half…

Hi,
Field order:
Is all your footage the same field order/codec? If so; does the timeline and the clips have the same field dominance? (apple + zero for sequence settings and apple + 9 for clip settings)
If not, make a new sequence with the proper dominance and copy your clips in to the new timeline.
If Your clips has got a “shift fields” filter on their way to your timeline you can try marking them in the sequence and remove attributes/filters (this only works if you havn
