Thanks for your answere Mark. Believe me, I would love to have only one codec but there is not much to do about that. The imx 50 format comes on xfile system, so we have to deal with both tapes and disks. The imx files will be a studio setting, and the dvcpro will be reality so at least, that will work out.

This is a totally normal behaviour. I work in dvpal 16×9 all the time.. and your qt files will always end up in 4×3. You have to manually change the aspect ratio in QT to get it right (this will be very quick and not require you to make a new file.) In quicktime go to Movie Properties. Video.. and 1024×576.

You can export directly from fcp… believe it or not.. Search for mxf at this forum

Well, it looks like there are other plugins out there. Have you checked out Revision FX’s skinsmoother ?

And it’s ONLY this plugin that does this job ? Would like to have a look at different options.. Skinsmoothing is quite important in glossy realitytv..

Magic bullet looks is GREAT !!! And too much too soon (free plugins) is fantastic.. (and all the other plugins the rest of the gang has already written about)
