Best skinsmoother for HD
I will soon start post-colorcorrection on the Bachelor (Norway). It will be shot on HD (1080) and, believe it or not, broadcasted in HD. We will probably need a skinsmoother plugin for FCP/AE. What works best ? Any suggestions ?

And it’s ONLY this plugin that does this job ? Would like to have a look at different options.. Skinsmoothing is quite important in glossy realitytv..

Yup…the only one. That is why it is so unique and sought after. Many people are WOWed by this when they see it. It employs a technique that many camera guys do internally on cameras….tweak to make the skin softer. This is the first and so far only plugin that does this.
The only other options really are to blur the overall picture. But that doesn’t look nearly as good. It’ll look like a cutaway to a Capt. Kirk love interest.

Well, it looks like there are other plugins out there. Have you checked out Revision FX’s skinsmoother ?

seriously Shane, I think they just slipped your mind maybe (think Twixtor, FieldsKit etc)
