What sre you using for your media drive and how is it connected to the computer.

Log and transfer needs to see the origional file structure of the card which you no longer have.
Concert them in compressor.

You may want to look into a device called the Turbo264HD from Elgato. It is a USB device that is a hardware encoder for h.264 files. Export from FCP using current settings, then bring that file into the Turbo264HD program and then enjoy faster encodes to a h264 file.

Honestly the best work flow for that would probably not be on a mac. Capturing on a mac a then converging could be a lot of work vs capturing directly to that format on a windows machine via a capture card.

Have you tried deleting the FCP preference files?
Does the same thing happen with different FCP projects or is it just the one?

It cant do that. Apple would never let a 3rd party software change QT witch is core to the mac OS like that.
As for the question, im going to respond to that on your original question post. Double posting, especially multiple times a day makes it HARD for others following to know what others have suggested, what you have tried etc.
Often when double posting you just get different people suggesting you try the same things that you were suggested in your ordinal post.

Let’s start at the beginning.
What format video are you editing?
What are your timeline settings?
Is everything rendered before you try and export?
Are you exporting a self contained file or a reference file?
Are you exporting using timeline settings or IR other settings selected?
How full us the drive you are exporting the file to?
What format is that drive?With complete detailed info on your project and the export settings we might be able to figure out your issue.

how are you trying to export? You have not really given us any info to go off of other then you have a problem. More info please.
