Not sure if they are 32 or 64 bit but I was able to get them to show up on my previous computer, an iMac, in Premiere Pro and After Effects. I know I had to do some finagling but I had hoped it would be more straight forward this time. Just going to keep hammering on it til I figure it out. Anybody else have a suggestion?

Thanks Andrew. It does have an aluminum case and the model identifier is iMac7,1. Can I jump right to Lion or do I need to purchase 10.5 & .6 to get to .7 or .8?

Since I trashed my prefs it may not be checked now, but if I get a reoccurrence of the same problem I’ll look there first.

I want to thank you Jon and Matt for helping me. I first trashed the FCP prefs that you suggested but that did not solve the problem. I quit FCP and trashed the Boris and FCP prefs and that fixed the problem, I just wanted to let you know in case some else has the same problem. Thanks again.

Brett I’ll tell you what has happened to me and that is I set up the titles with a background to see how it looks and I’ve forgotten to turn the eyeball off before rendering. Even if you render with an alpha if you have a background then the background shows.
