Unable to load EPS into Red
Hi, I’ve been using Red for many years and have not run into this before. I am using Red 4.3 and I am trying to use an Illustrator file that I was given of the company’s logo. When I open it in Illustrator the file has only one layer and is a RGB file. I have saved it as an Illustrator 9 and 10 and using as it was given me (I don’t know which version it was created in). It doesn’t show up in Red when I import it as the native file. I get an error that Red can not read the versions 9 & 10. Any ideas?

try to save it as Illustrator 8. Also, if the file only had RGB data (meaning raster image data) you will not be able to access splines in RED. However, you may be able to convert to splines by using our Vector Trace feature.
