AJA told me not to use version 5 with Tiger. They said stick with 4. Use v5 for Leopard.

[Cory McKechnie] “I didn’t go with the Certified, but rather the Qualified. They both have lifetime advanced return so I feel safe in that decision. I believe (but others can answer this more accurately) is that the Certified runs through a few more tests, but the Qualified runs through a few less (but still a lot).
Someone please correct me if I’m wrong on this one. “I bought the Qualified for the last version 8-Core from OWC (600 MHz vs 800 MHz for new 8-Core). Works great. OWC had no problems recommending the qualified over the Certified. Said there wasn’t really any difference but price.

Very easy to wire a SATA cable up to the DVD drive. There are two extra SATA ports on the mother board. I ran a SATA cable from the closest connection on the logic board to the DVD drive bay up and into the DVD bays so I can plug in a hard drive or a SATA Blue Ray drive when the price drops a little more.

Don’t know about the BenQ, but I have two Apple Cinema 23″ balanced, or set up with the Spyder2Pro and they are great and accurate, especially for high res printing.

I was told by AJA not to upgrade to 5.0 if you are running 10.4.1.1. v5.0 of the drivers is really for Leopard.
