Not a whole lot. If you read what Steve is saying, all versions of OS X have been built “Intel Ready” so they’ve been preparing for this transition all along. So I’m guessing it will bring us faster machines sooner, rather than later. it should also drop the price of our machines since there are a zillion Intel Processors made each year compared to the limited number of Apple processors made each year.

Reinstall all your Pro Apps, actually you really should wipe your harddrive clean and start all over. That’s what I do when moving from OS to OS. So far my G5 Dual 2.0 with Tiger and the FCP Studio Suite are running well.

the timeline! How stupid is this? Makes it unusable.**”Dude, run FCP 5 on a 30″ display and see just how “stupid” this is. You can’t read the FCP text on a 30″ at full resolution without using this feature. Maybe it’s stupid for your setup, but there’s a reason it’s in there.

…Also on 10.3.9 the ProImport plugin crashed the plugin folder for FCP 5.0 until I removed it.”Yeah, there’s a note about FCP 5 right on their site. Basically don’t use it for FCP 5 at the moment.
“Automatic Duck has heard reports from some early adopters that at least some of our products have problems in Final Cut Pro 5.0. Turns out that if one of our plug-ins is installed in FCP 5, no other third-party plug-ins will appear in Final Cut. This appears to affect things like DeckLink and AJA cards too.
We are on the case and working closely with Apple to resolve the issue.”
Wes is currently looking at my OMF files and the imports on both Tiger and 10.3.8 and I’ll get back to you when he figures out what’s going one. Great guy and I’m sure we’ll have an answer soon.

Yep, it has the spring back feature. I prefer the Bella to the Contour because it’s all built in and is in a great position on the keyboard.
