Hi Jim,

You or your client would need to set the NanoFlash recording format to MXF format for Premiere.

Premiere doesn’t supports XDCAM wrapped in Quicktime…

From past experience, Nvidia and ATI don’t behave very well together.

That doesn’t mean you can’t give it a shot, but there’s a possibility of driver conflicts.

I don’t think that option is available without any 3rd party converter.

You best option is H.264, which is pretty close quality wise.

We take optical out to a small mixer. You may have to go into Premiere audio preferences and set your output there. It looks like right now it’s set to the HDMI OUT.

Hi Jim,

Usually, this is combination of keyframe interval; being too low, and/or bit rate being too low.

Try shortening the keyframe interval first. This is a point in the video where the compression provides a full frame, not just changes from the previous frames. If the interval is too long, you will start seeing artifacts on fade ins, and crossfades, where every consecutive frame is different.

I would start with a bit rate of 1Mb/s if this is for the web.

H.264 is one of the best formats around right now.

Hi Geno,

It would depends on how new your copy of Premiere is. It would probably have to be at least CS4, support before that was more spotty. Also, make sure your format in the camera is set to H.264, and that you have Quicktime installed (PC side).
