Best Video Compression Method from FRAPS video
Hi there, if you don’t know what FRAPS is, it’s just screen recording software that’s popular with PC gamers to record their games, I have a bunch of videos I want to downsize from 960×540 to 640×360, but I’d still like to keep the clarity and quality. FRAPS records at a lossy format, so the filesize is a few GB per minute.
I’ve tried encoding in stuff like MP4 etc but it always results in like.. having a blocky compression look to it, even though I set to bitrate to quite high.

Hi Chris,
I would start with a bit rate of 1Mb/s if this is for the web.
H.264 is one of the best formats around right now.
