Did you try what Dave suggested to your earlier? See if pasting data to a solid after you choose export from Mocha to Clipboard will do anything. Also, try pasting the data to a text file and see if that works. I will ask you again- are you exporting position track data or corner pin data?

You may also want to try Find Edges- select the yellow color of the suit- create a mask using a key filter- composite that on top of the original and apply Find Edges.

If you have another computer screen in the shot (or some other shot) that has the right stuff on, you can maybe comp that on.
If not, maybe you can shoot a computer screen with the right stuff on and replace that. If not video then maybe a still and then match the grain.Tudor “Ted” Jelescu

Here’s a Light Wrap Tutorial similar to the one Dave mentioned and a Color Link Tutorial– this will help you matching color besides what Color Finesse can do.

Dave has a good point- check to see if what you are exporting is position track data and not corner pin data, in which case a Null would not be affected in a way that will be visible for any layers linked to it.

You are correct- freeze frame, rectangular masks, layer animation on the x axis- a lot has to do with timing on the music…. that’s about it.

That’s when your talent as a visual effects artist comes into play. Since you can’t see the shape of his hair, just animate a shape that looks right. – That is after you played with Levels or Curves to try and see if there’s no information in that area that you can bring up.

To be blunt- not really. Unless you use a particle system you can’t really do a smoke trail easily. Hire someone to do it for you- post a job here on the Cow.
