  • Can’t Paste When Copied To Clipboard in Mocha

Posted by Ian Leo on February 4, 2011 at 11:56 pm

Help! When I select copy to clipboard in Mocha, and try to paste the tracking data to a null object, I just can’t paste it. The “Paste” sign is not clickable. I have two versions of Mocha. Because I didn’t know that Mocha comes automatically with After Effects, I downloaded Mocha from the web. Then I found out the original Mocha. I tried both versions and I still can’t paste. Please help, thank you very much!

Did you try what Dave suggested to your earlier? See if pasting data to a solid after you choose export from Mocha to Clipboard will do anything. Also, try pasting the data to a text file and see if that works. I will ask you again- are you exporting position track data or corner pin data?

Save the track data to a file- open that file, copy and then try pasting in AE.

I know why the data cannot be pasted~~~~ it has something to do with the fps setting. a same 23.98 footage in AE comp inported to mocha will be converted to 24 automaticly, thus AE wont recogonize the data exported….so you just have to adjust the fps setting while inporting footage~~~

Make your null a 3D layer and it’ll work.
