what tracking software? It has to do with the scale of your 3d scene. Try and scale your 3d scene down.

it is great work, but I wouldn’t call it motion graphics for effects work. It’s just stop motion animation…

bah, fix it in post! 🙂

how often does it appear? every frame? once a minute?
Does it only glitch out on this footage? I would try shooting something else as a quick test, maybe it was a bad transfer from the p2 card?

I say when you get off work, then go home, have a beer, and relax 🙂

I’d look into some remote login software for being and at home and checking/setting up renders.

there is a corner pin tracking option, so you coulda just used that in the first place. But you can also be able to link the values via an expression.

    yours lack character 😛

Looks like you’ve got the technique right on. The only difference is I don’t think the camera rotates at all in the first example. I think camera rotation works for just the face, but I see headaches for trying it with a whole body/scene.

I would also try to shoot them with no shadows at all. And bright contrasting colors.

what are you using for your building? An image? stock footage?
No, there isn’t a way to scale footage and not lose quality, I don’t care how much CSI you watch, it’s not possible.

Sounds like you need multiple shots of the building where you can comp them together to get good enough resolution at the end. It’s the same technique as VideoCopilot’s Earth Zoom tutorial.
