Adobe folks are on vacation this week.

1. Assign Colorista 2 to a clip.
2. Go to Effect Controls.
3. Go down 4 lines to Primary 3 Way

Spin down the “twirly”

I would hazard a guess that he did not give you the ORIGINAL folder. Did you try importing in the Import Panel? If you cant ingest, you need that original folder and files associated with it.

Go past the open and you are shown a very fast way to make a box.Alter it to your needs 😀

Actually, I found a great work around that fits my needs. I mix at a clip level.I just double click on the clip and create the key frames by numeric entry in the clips Effect Controls Panel. This is reflected on the timeline by Displaying Clip Key frames. Probably not as fast as the mixer GUI, but lots more accurate when I use it.

I know the Audio Mixer sliders appeal to many, but as you said, one of several audio short comings is that the mixer only affects the tracks. Any changes to timeline screws the mix up good.

Without the imperative need for what Avid MC has to offer, Im of a mind to leave transcoding behind as much as possible. Luckily, my Mac seems very capable with all the formats Ive used so far.The biggest treat so far is Red 4K on the timeline (color corrected even….) in real time playback 😀
