That is true Oliver, I was just waxing nostalgic on the simplicity of the older DS process. As I said, its good to know a functional workflow on PrP that accommodates the Offline-Online approach. I dont seem to use it as much now as I did when cutting SD on the DS. But Im sure the opportunity will arise.

Thank you Oliver and Alex. Ive been curious about how the Offline-Online workflow would happen in PrP.

In Avid DS it was so much simpler. I would just save a copy of my offline (naming it High Res), change the sequence setting from lo res to hi res and digitize. I must say it seems much less convoluted than the PrP approach.

It sounds like its time to trash preferences. If you are on a Mac this is the process.

Hold down the Shift and Ctrl keys while you launch Premiere and you will have reset your preferences to default.
