Guys, for once and forever – just do not update to the latests versions at the time they arrives. Why to bother?

Every single year, more stable versions comes out after XX.1 update, when bugs are get rid of. Users base is used as testers.

Not trying to be pathetic here – but really, the benefits involved in updates are rarely worth wasting time with errors involved, only with few exceptions here and there.

When you get location of a file, use ‘parent’ to get a folder location without working with strings.

You might need to ‘convert’ result to .toString() in order to pass the folder path as a proper type, but this will eliminate a custom need of strings processing anyways.

myFolder.parent;

You could also just place text layer above the box and define ‘layer’ by setting it index to s=thisComp.layer(index-1);

No need to update names, works as long as you do not mess up the orders.

Hey Al, looking at it from a first glance, I guess you just need to set each ‘comps’ positions in the stack based on above comps layers heights. (if you want to achieve it solely in expressions)

With that in mind, you need to make ‘tall enough’ composition so that it will not go above maximum scenario of height.

Hey Reuben, not sure whether it will be beneficial – but what about beginSuppressDialogs() and app.endSuppressDialogs()? It allows ignoring them completely, but might not work in this case.

Hey Jason, assuming transformations are proportional, try to apply this to stoke:

nullScale = thisComp.layer("null").transform.scale[0];
textScale = thisComp.layer("text").transform.scale[0];
brushSize = 10; //Your default value for brush

brushSize * nullScale/textScale

Hey Lucas, here is a part of a conclusion from Puget:

There are some applications (Photoshop and NeatBench from what we tested) that can to potentially get up to ~13% higher performance with DDR4-3600 RAM. Just keep in mind that this performance is definitely not “free” – just like CPU overclocking, it is possible that it may cause more problems than the extra performance will solve and may require a bit of tinkering in the BIOS to get it stable over the life of your system.

If you ask me – the cost gains and troubles from 64gb is not worth it over the quantity of 128gb. Maybe, just maybe, you could look for 2666 if thats applicable.
