What I got from a quick search is that this is hardware issue, or maybe sys file issue. Could be overheating cpu.Start simple. Check your cpu temp. If that is going up before BSD, then check cpu and cooling. If that’s all good, reseat RAM and cards. If that’s all good, then you may need to try doing a clean install of your OS again.
But, this doesn’t sound like an Adobe issue.

March 25, 2019 at 3:14 pm in reply to: Is there a quick way to duplicate the effects rack of one track to another?Have you tried copy/paste? It works. To select multiple effects hold CMD key (or I guess CTL in Win). Or, Right Click “Audio Effects” in Effects Panel and Select All, Right Click again and Copy. Go to other layer and Right Click Audio Effects and select Paste.

I’d say 1 second. Same as if I tell someone :30 or :15.

March 25, 2019 at 2:38 pm in reply to: BEST MOUSE TO USE FOR EDITING with Macbook pro laptop (track pad is breaking my neck!)There really is no best mouse/keyboard. It’s whatever is comfortable for you. I like a mouse that has some size and I can hold it, which is what I use at home, But at work, I have a Mac Magic Mouse that I like/dislike – I like the side-to-side swipe, hate the size and accidental zooms in AE comps. LOL! That last part might be human error, but happens way too much. Full size keyboard, with number keys for editing. The standard full size mac keyboard is nice, but once again, there are good other options out there. I use a Logitech wireless keyboard/mouse combo at home on my PC.
Look online for computer ergonomics. There have been lots of people doing lots of studies to get what would be the best way to work long hours at a computer. Most of us don’t do it though, and will regret it later. I try to, but find myself slouching farther in my chair as the day goes.
Good Luck!

As far as audio, in your Audio Hardware Preferences, do you have the proper audio device selected?

March 22, 2019 at 10:25 pm in reply to: Relocating Premiere Projects and Corresponding FilesI frequently archive by moving entire project folders from one drive to another and have no linking issues. Within my one project folder are several other folders with Project, Audio, Video, Graphics, AE. Everything keeps a relative path so it all loads up after moving it.

Best way to know is to post your file specs and your sequence specs so we can see exactly what they are and what might be happening.

Are these “Team Projects”? Or are these single projects working on one edit station at a time?

March 15, 2019 at 2:53 pm in reply to: Mass Export Canon MOV files with Left Channel RemovedAre you using PluralEyes in PPro? Within PPro you can select all your clips – Right Click – Modify Audio. Remove the left channel, make the right mono or keep it stereo. Even if you need to export, this would be the way to strip that channel in PPro.

Sometimes preferences get corrupt and cause strange things to happen. If it worked for a day, then maybe something is happening on your system to corrupt the prefs file. I could not even begin to guess what that could be. Might need to contact Adobe support so they can access your computer and try to figure it out.
