Thanks, Michael. I do get that the rim lights and SSS would be done in C4D, I guess it’s really the diffusion in post I’m wondering about, and if anybody knows of any good tutorials on ways to get that look.
Here are a few examples. Note that the highlights on the edges of the characters is slightly soft and diffuse. I can’t think of how I would do that in C4D, so I’m assuming it’s a post filter of some kind(?)
Update: I figured out a relatively simple solution: I used Group Object on each eye null inside the bone hierarchy and used Enable Axis to swing the Z axis around to point forward, and put a Target tag on each of the new nulls. Seems to work pretty well.
I don’t remember running it on that computer, since I have owned FCP for years, but I guess it’s possible. I will contact Apple Support like you suggest. Thanks!
