  • Select all the clips on the timeline (Command+A), control click–>Collapse MultiClips. (You can also do it from the toolbar, but I am not exactly sure –I don’t have FCP open right now–under which item you would look). After you are through, you can select all the clips and control click–>Uncollapse MultiClips.

I had a similar problem. My resolution was to go to applications–>Final Cut Pro–> Right click, Show Package Contents–>Contents–>Plugins. I had to delete any extra plugins within the plugins folder and reinstall. Once I did that, everything magically worked again. Hope this helps!

I haven’t had any trouble until yesterday/today. I downloaded the OS update yesterday afternoon, and then problems started. (Though I am not 100% for sure yet what is happening….) I was working on a project that has 12 pictures on 12 Zax objects, and a camera/3d space. When I went to render out the project, after 8 minutes, the entire computer crashed. I shut down for a few minute, and restarted. When I tried again, the same thing happened. I shut down overnight and figured it must be some setting I had in the overall project or with Zax. However, when I opened up Toast to burn an image, the computer crashed again. It seems to be working fine now (I restarted and am using Toast), but I am at odds over what is happening. (I have quite a few projects that need to be tended to, and not alot of time for this to happen) Anyone else having these problems?
