AE 6.5 and OSX Tiger 10.4.1
Posted by Rich Scurry on May 23, 2005 at 9:49 pmSo I’m thinking of making the upgrade from 10.3.9 to tiger on my AE workstation (dual 2.5 g5).
Anyone problems to report?
Thanks
Rich

May 24, 2005 at 1:22 pmI haven’t had any trouble until yesterday/today. I downloaded the OS update yesterday afternoon, and then problems started. (Though I am not 100% for sure yet what is happening….) I was working on a project that has 12 pictures on 12 Zax objects, and a camera/3d space. When I went to render out the project, after 8 minutes, the entire computer crashed. I shut down for a few minute, and restarted. When I tried again, the same thing happened. I shut down overnight and figured it must be some setting I had in the overall project or with Zax. However, when I opened up Toast to burn an image, the computer crashed again. It seems to be working fine now (I restarted and am using Toast), but I am at odds over what is happening. (I have quite a few projects that need to be tended to, and not alot of time for this to happen) Anyone else having these problems?

May 25, 2005 at 5:24 pmI had a similar problem with OSX 10.3.9, only because of a time remapping keyframe that was nested inside a time remapped comp, removed that and everything was fine. Check your nesting for similar weird issues (by ram previewing certain comps) to see where the bug is
