Not sure if this is the correct place for this but…

I am lightly self taught in AE and Cinema 4d (very basic stuff for a walkthrough, some roto with Curious gFx Pro and some Apple Motion) and thought I might like to get into it as a job. I’m in Minnesota, where would one learn AE properly so I can prove to a prospective employer that I know my stuff? Or, is it better to do the self learning route and try to put a ‘show reel’ together?

    How about Pixel Corp?

Pixel Corps is good, but is more of a broad overview as far as After Effects is concerned (and yes I’m a member). If you want to REALLY learn AE, then Total Training is the way to go…I can’t recommend that series of DVD’s highly enough.
