    Keep keyframe time is in the general tab of the preferences window in general options section…

    Boris calls them apply modes and they are under the composite tab.
    You might want to try pixel chooser for this, though… Very powerful feature in Boris that seems to be little used…
    Apply your blur and go to the pixel chooser tab. Click the little clock wipe tab and they try the different settings under make mask from…
    You can also adjust the amount of blur…

    it sounds a little high…
    I usually render out 30 second spots and those usually hit around 700 – 900 megs depending on how much information is in the frame at any one time.
    Someone else might have a better answer.

    make a solid, add the fire filter, make a cylinder on a separate track and then drop the solid onto the face track of the cylinder. Then adjust the cylinder and fire to your liking…

    I use windows media encoder. The biggest plus is that it’s free from microsoft. I can usually get a :30 down to about 1.5 or 2 megs. Quality is subjective but none of my clients have ever mentioned poor quality…
