    Hi,

am I doing something terrible wrong or is the file size of avi-vfw files generated by Boris Red totally excessive? Of course uncompressed digital video files take a lot of space, but yesterday I rendered 60 s (1 min) in Boris and the generated avi-file was 2.4 GB!!! This can not be depended on settings in the case of uncrompressed, can it? The clip uses amongst others a large tga-image. But Boris should save every frame only in the size of the project (e.g. DV PAl), am I wrong?

    Thanks in advance

    it sounds a little high…
I usually render out 30 second spots and those usually hit around 700 – 900 megs depending on how much information is in the frame at any one time.
Someone else might have a better answer.
