Now even the Red Generator is doing some funky stuff. After getting into Reds controls…on it’s own screen, it doesn’t want to do anything. Do you think my prefs are bad? If so where, how and what do I delete?

What SATA Card are you using? My SATA Raid takes a minute or two after booting up to pop on the desktop.

Also, I get dropped frames after a big project if I don’t use diskwarrior to defrag the Raid, but seeing that you only have 10% of the Raid used….hmmm.

Well to make a long story short, the Tascam DM-24’s clock was set on 44.1 not 48. I changed it but must not have stored it. I stored it this time and all’s fine. What an audio board, menu after menu after menu. (not that I’m complaining).

I just contacted Apple to see if I could get my FCP Studio 5 disks back so I could use Boris Red. They kindly told me “no”.

My clients and I are so hooked on Boris, we don’t dare do a spot without using it. Can’t wait till you get it working with FCP Universal. It’s going to be painful but I’ll muddle thru.

Users of Boris Red will love to know that you can’t use Red as a filter with the Universal version, it turns your clip solid black. For those of us who traided our disks in, we’re sunk. Sure would like my 5.0 disks back.
