It should be noted that these are only for installations from CD.
They do not work with the “try and buy versions”. Why not?

That’s because the TNB versions that are currently available already include this patch as we posted new versions of them on our site when the patch was uploaded. The patch was designed to prevent Red, Graffiti and FX from crashing FCP 5.1 as well as taking care of a couple of other annoying bugs. It will be useful for users of the aforementioned products who have a CD installer – for those that have the old TNB installer, they can download the new TNB installer to patch their older version.

I have FCP 5.1.1 on a 2.0ghz Imac Intel. When I try to use the Boris 3D text capability, I get major problems with trying to adjust leading or kerning and can’t complete the controls for the text image I want.

Question:

Does this download patch help with that problem? Is Boris aware of it…I haven’t seen any posts anywhere about it? How do I get the patch if I am only a registered FCP user, not an external Boris product user.?
