Several people have suggested to me on other forums that it’s an issue with M1 Macs. If anyone can try it with a thunderbolt adapter (or an M2 mac?) It might be useful

I’ve just bought a Behringer BCF2000, and I don’t think that’s right (or at least, it’s not right 14 years after the last reply!) Premiere now has Mackie control surface support.

I can get the Behringer to send fader control to Premiere, but I can’t get the motors on the faders to respond to positions in Premiere’s track mixer. If anyone has any tips, I’d love to know.

ah I think i’ve got it:

x = thisComp.layer(index-1).position[0];
y = thisComp.layer(index-1).position[1];
[x,y]

(I was returning the value of the layer, not the position of that layer)

I spoke too soon. Trying to do another one, and the “move it locally” trick isn’t working. If anyone else has resolve this, please let me know.

It might be possible to achieve something like this using text animators.
Kyle Hamrick has a very in dept tutorial on it here:

Assuming slider A is limited to values between 0 and 100, slider B just needs to be a value of 100 minus the value of slider A.
You can do this like this:

The expression in Slider B’s value is:
100-(effect("Slider Control A")("Slider"))
