Gotta love AJA, called them up and they sent out a device to swap..
After all these years they still have excellent service. -
Yeah but when I bring the footage in to AE, it just dosent look clean, maybe try a motion blur.
I am using AE 5.5 so Im sure that dosent help.. -
I sure its not able to syn up with Firewire..which is the biggest proble.
Id try different capture settings, also try trashin your preferences..
You might be out of luck though, I know alot of boxes out there with firewire ports..
My cable box has one, but I dont think FCP will synce up with it properly..
I have the same problem with an old JVC camera wont sync..
Only other suggestion is go through a break out box of some sort..AJA pinicle.. go Svideo in and AV and then go directly into you system

ITs a Sony Beta Cam SP, thought the 10bit might give it a cleaner look.

Your able to create the same effect almost with just AE , a Mask, and a LIght..

Never mind, I gots it, had to select the directional tool up and down, then select the object..

I can only select it in the set up window where you add textures and color..
When I attempt to move it, the whole its just spins the object now x and y..
In the scene preview it will only select the whole object is selcted.
How do you seperate and move them??
Better yet, know of any tutorials that get more in depth??
