No Firewire Status
MMMM, kinda at a stand still.. Got 2 edit bays running of one IO, think it might have caught up to me finally.
On the G4, trash the prefs, recyleced power on the IO and the MAC still not getting a signal.
I even reloaded the IO disk and drivers. Nothing..
Not the firewire cable or imput cause I pluged a DV deck and it worked fine.
Now on the G5 I dont get a signal did the same excat check list as I did on the G4,
However, with the g5 I attempt to connect and the CPU ends up stalling as it is trying to make a
connection..Not sure if I shorted out the box or something, anybody have any suggestions of any sort maybe a way.
To reset the box or the firewire connection???

Gotta love AJA, called them up and they sent out a device to swap..
After all these years they still have excellent service.
