I have a lot of experience using Adobe Premiere Pro, but no Avid experience.

    Thank you for your input.

Please confirm that under Project>Project Settings>General>Playback Settings that you have your M10U set as the External playback device. If this is set to None you will get the results you are seeing.

I’m seeing the same thing. Good catch. Let’s hope this gets fixed with the next release.

This has been discussed at length in previous posts. Transparent video is not an adjustment layer and only a small handful of effects work on it.

Just to clarify, there are other boards that will be certified with Premiere Pro 2.0. Both the Matrox RTX100 and Blackmagic Decklink cards have drivers that are in progress. I haven’t heard anything about a Canopus card being supported though.

What app did you use to capture the files initially? What format are they in? If I recall your other post properly you said they were .m2t. Is that correct?

You can save it as a second comp in your AE project, but it will not by dynamically linked to the Premiere Pro project. But all is not lost. You can simply offline it in Premiere Pro and link to the new version in your AE project. Or, you could just import the second comp as a second dynamic link and have both in the Premiere Pro project panel.

Temporary solution is to rename your decklink.dll. This way you don’t have to uninstall or reinstall your BM drivers when you want to capture.

    Larry,

Did this fix your issue? I have seen this issue before and it usually means there is a discrepancy between your export setting and the master audio track of your sequence. So I’m curious if this is something that was fixed in the new presets as I thought they addressed a different issue altogher.

I am unable to reproduce this issue. Can you try another clip (maybe Bars and Tones)? What settings are you using on the EQ effect? What soundcard are you using? How do you have your preferences set up under Edit > Preferences > Audio Hardware?
