This has been discussed at length in previous posts. Transparent video is not an adjustment layer and only a small handful of effects work on it.

Transparent video is no more than an ordinary Alpha Layer.

Imagine a Title layer without titles, that’s what it is.

So how the tracks under the transparent track have the result of applying an effect in transparent track.

.- There is NO results or changes on the layers under the transparent track, it is NOT an adjustment layer.

It’s not much you can apply in the invisible layer and, repeat, there is NO effect, variation or change on the layer(s) underneath.

Some GENERATOR-type effects, like Knoll lighting effects, particles and, of course, Titles.

It is a simple. common and ordinary alpha layer, nothing special.

So, basically, it’s not a feature to jump out of joy.

CARL many thanks for your feedback .I was confuse because Aanarav Sareen wrote this on his tytorial…
‘Just apply an effect to the transparent video track and the results from the effect will automatically be apparent on all other underlying tracks’.REGARDS PANOSS
