    Hi

I’m getting audio distortion in subtimelines in PPro2. If there is EQ added on a clip in the original sequence (where it sounds fine). If I import that sequence to another sequence there is serious distortion.

This is a new DV NTSC 48k job with only one imported DV clip to test. I’ve tried two systems. It doesn’t happen in 1.51 on the same systems.

Anyone else encountering this. Can someone try it and tell me if it is our systems?

    Thanks

Did you render the audio in the “subtimeline”?

I am unable to reproduce this issue. Can you try another clip (maybe Bars and Tones)? What settings are you using on the EQ effect? What soundcard are you using? How do you have your preferences set up under Edit > Preferences > Audio Hardware?

    Hi

I can reproduce with just tone on a sequence, add Stereo EQ +5db at 5khz, then pull that sequence into a new timeline and distortion.

    BUT….

I think you guys are on to something. In the Audio hardware if I select “NVIDIA ASIO” for the sound card, or “DECKLINK AUDIO” the problem appears, but if I select “Adobe default windows sound 1.5” and set the ASIO settings to output to either of the same sound cards it is fine.

    Strange.

    Thanks for the help.
