The subject title is actually wrong…I was going to ask a question about the MRC1 but decided to ask about my footage instead. I didn’t change the subject title before I posted it….sorry!

I’m with you on this one Jeff. My work computers NEVER see the internet and never get anything installed unless it’s something that I need installed for the software I work with.

I “play” on a different computer.

You should call Sony if you haven’t received your serial numbers yet. I got mine almost immediately after I purchased it.

October 18, 2011 at 11:31 pm in reply to: Video even Pan/Crop is… cropped!

If I follow your question correctly…when you open pan/crop you need to click on the “preset” drop down at the top of the window and choose the aspect ratio you’re working on…4:3, 16:9, etc. Then when you zoom in or out it will do it without cropping the pic.

I’m just curious if the promotional keycode that is automatically entered is specific to each email or if it’s a standard keycode for all email promotional offers….hmmmm.

October 17, 2011 at 3:41 pm in reply to: fcpx user checking out Vegas, want feedback plz

Vegas is not only a very stable video editor…it is a very powerful audio DAW. Vegas first started out as a multitrack audio software when it was developed by Sonic Foundry. Sony bought them out I think at ver. 3.

I have a recording studio and use an alesis HD24 for tracking but transfer the audio tracks into Vegas and do my mixing there.
