    Hi there,

there’s one thing that bugs me in Vegas (Movie Studio, but I don’t think it’s due to it not being the pro version):

When I use a lot of images of different sizes that I want to put into a main video stream at different positions in the video, I’d like to use the same channel for all of them, rather than one channel each.

However, the video-event level Pan/Crop appears to restrict the output size of the image to that of the original image. I can’t magnify beyond the initial size it’s inserted in which is the maximal magnification possible without clipping the image.

All further magnification is clipped to this region.

There must be a way to do this I overlooked, but what is it?

If I follow your question correctly…when you open pan/crop you need to click on the “preset” drop down at the top of the window and choose the aspect ratio you’re working on…4:3, 16:9, etc. Then when you zoom in or out it will do it without cropping the pic.

After opening Pan/Crop, right-click on the image in the pan/crop window and then choose “Match Output Aspect”
